Thrive PR, a Dallas/Fort Worth-based strategic communications and creative agency founded in 2003, won FOUR Pegasus Awards from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Dallas and was honored as a Small Agency of the Year Finalist during the PRSA Dallas 2022 Awards Event.
“On the eve of our agency’s 20-year anniversary, our team couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate than to be recognized by our profession for the smart, creative, impactful work we do for our clients,” said Kelly Kirkendoll, founder and CEO of Thrive PR.
Three of the four Pegasus Awards were for Thrive’s work with Hospice Source: 1) BEST OF SHOW, 2) Best Internal Communications Program and 3) Best Publication. Thrive PR also won the Pegasus Award of Honor for Most Effective Campaign on a Budget for Don’t Fraud My Texas!
BEST OF SHOW!
Thrive PR was honored with a BEST OF SHOW Pegasus award across all projects for its Hospice Source Employee Newsletter entry, which also won the Pegasus Award in the Publication category. The Best of Show Awards recognize the two most outstanding entries in the Program and Projects categories, respectfully, for their creativity and effectiveness in achieving goals and objectives.
PRSA Pegasus Award: Internal Communications Program for Hospice Source
Partnering with Hospice Source’s CEO, Thrive PR strategized and implemented a new, comprehensive, integrated communications program for the company’s employees across the country. The majority of employees work in non-desk/delivery roles, making internal communications particularly challenging. The ongoing program has resulted in a more engaged, informed and connected workforce.
PRSA Pegasus Award: Publication (Digital or Print) for Hospice Source
In partnership with Hospice Source’s Director of Customer Experience, Thrive PR strategizes and serves as the ongoing editor-in-chief and graphic design team for the company’s first-ever monthly employee newsletter – THE SOURCE, a digital newsletter to inform and engage team members across the company.
“Our driving mission is to serve ‘every patient, every time,’ and delivering on that purpose starts with a connected and engaged workforce,” said Jeff Mongonia, CEO of Hospice Source. “We’re honored that the employee communication work we’ve done in partnership with Thrive PR has been recognized with these esteemed awards.”
PRSA Pegasus Award of Honor: Most Effective Campaign on a Budget for Don’t Fraud My Texas
For a new statewide consumer education and advocacy initiative supported by professional roofing industry leaders across Texas, Thrive PR formulated and executed an integrated strategic communications plan to position, name, brand and promote the new Don’t Fraud My Texas campaign during Phase 1 (Jan-July ’22), reaching hundreds of thousands of Texans and driving targeted actions within the first 3 months of launch.
PRSA Dallas is one of the nation’s largest and most active chapters of PRSA, and the Pegasus Awards, named after the iconic red Pegasus in downtown Dallas, recognizes the most outstanding communications efforts by Dallas area strategic communications professionals.
