Thrive PR has helped clients apply for and win countless awards during our nearly two decades in business. We finally did that for own company this year, when we applied for a Greater Fort Worth PRSA Worthy Award in two categories: Integrated Communications and Social Media. On November 4, 2021, we attended the awards ceremony at the historic Isis Theatre, where we WON TWO awards, taking home the top honor (a WORTHY AWARD) in both categories! We were also selected as one of the four finalists, across all entry categories, for Best of Show!
We won 2020-2021 PRSA Worthy Awards in the Integrated Communications and Social Media categories for the Tarrant Transit Alliance (TTA) VOTE FOR BETTER TRANSIT campaign.
With a modest budget, TTA enlisted Thrive PR to create and execute an integrated PR and communications plan to help elevate transit as a topic of discussion and voter consideration during the 2021 Fort Worth City Mayoral and City Council election campaign. As a result of Thrive PR’s efforts, in partnership with TTA president Rachel Albright and Development Director Haley Frieler, transit gained a larger spotlight via media coverage, social media engagement and citizen participation in TTA’s first Mayoral Candidate Forum. Additionally, TTA met its member renewal goals in 1Q2021, gained new members, and the majority of the candidates elected are what TTA members deemed “moderately or significantly transit-friendly.”
We are honored to work with TTA and support the important work they do in the community. Despite Fort Worth being the 12th largest city in the U.S. now, it has the lowest spend per capita on public transit of any city in Texas, impacting the greater Fort Worth area’s quality of life, job growth, equity, mobility, economic development and environment. The mission of our client Tarrant Transit Alliance (TTA), a nonprofit advocacy organization, is to educate, empower and mobilize the Fort Worth and Tarrant County communities to promote transit policy that serves the entire region.
